Sai Gramam is the sole point of convergence for all the benign initiatives disseminating from the Sri Sathya Sai Orphanage Trust, Kerala. The Sai Gramam has got its jurisdiction all over Kerala. Under its magnanimous shade flourish innumerous initiatives like orphanages, home for the mentally challenged, temples for peace and many more. Diversity of the projects is but noted for a similarity, for all of them rely on the Gandhian ideal of creating ‘Grama Swaraj’ or self-reliant villages. All projects progress stably with a regular forward pace. Among the unending list of accomplished and ongoing successful projects of Sai Gramam are notable initiatives including among others: construction of wells, rainwater harvesting setups, biogas plants, solar street lamps, solar domestic lamps, Gokulam dairy farm for plush production of milk, organic cultivation of vegetables and fruits, cottage industries for producing soaps and detergents; women units for producing incense sticks, and flower gardens for producing flowers needed for places of worship.
